How we handle your documents, and what our AI can and cannot do

You are about to put personal and commercial information into a legal document tool. Reasonable questions follow: where does it go, who can see it, how good is the output, and what happens if it is wrong.

The short version

Your documents are yours. 

They are stored in your private account. Only you can access them. You can permanently delete any document at any time.

We do not sell your data. 

Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

Uploaded files are deleted automatically 

after processing. If you upload a contract for analysis or to rebuild from, the file itself does not linger.

We produce drafts, not legal advice. 

IndigoEDocs is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For anything carrying real risk, have the document reviewed by a qualified legal professional.

We tell you when we do not know. 

Where a requirement depends on your jurisdiction — and a great many do — we say so rather than guessing on your behalf.

Why we publish this

Legal documents are a category where overclaiming is common and consequential. Tools in this space have an incentive to imply more certainty than they can deliver, because certainty converts.

We would rather be useful and honest about the limits. A user who understands that a will still needs correct witnessing is far better served than one who believes the download was the last step.
